The Mountain Hardwear Lamina Sleeping Bag utilizes Thermic CF insulation, a material co-developed by Mountain Hardwear and Polarguard to emulate the positive qualities of down in a synthetic. The 0-degree Lamina is a stalwart companion in damp winter weather the world over. Welded to the bag's shell, Thermic CF doesn't suffer from the water vulnerabilities of down, but has better loft, softness and compressibility than you'd expect from a synthetic. A draft collar and face gasket seal in warmth, and a trapezoidal comfort footbox allows for natural foot placement. Representing a leap forward in the quest to have your cake and eat it too, at least in sleeping-bag land, the Lamina stands out from the crowd.
