For a little donkey living on an old farm in the North Carolina mountains, daily life is full of big adventures that are often confusing, a bit complicated, and sometimes just a little unnerving. Too many new words, unexpected fun in the snow, or a curve in a dirt road supply so much to ponder between his uncontrollable donkey ears. With the help of his friend, Daffney the horse, and a kindly farmer, Bartholomew the Donkey stumbles through each new experience, learning and expanding his world.
